Yoga

The practice of yoga comes in many forms. In the west it is often associated with Hatha Yoga and it's many forms, mostly physical postures (Asanas) and breath work (Pranayama)

Hatha yoga has been shown to

-Reduce symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, high blood pressure.

-Increase strength, mobility, functional range of movement and mental clarity.

Meditation

Meditation has a long history through multiple cultures with many techniques and definitions. The lists of benefits associated with meditation include:

-Relief from stress, anxiety, depression

-Increase mental acuity, creativity, and critical thinking

Acupuncture

Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) techniques have been used to help with a number of ailments. From musculoskeletal problems, headaches, mood, stress, fertility, smoking cessation, digestive issues to name a few. TCM like most holistic methods treat the body and mind as a whole, rather than the individual symptoms.
